Rêves d'enfance
    Life is very curious, from the first time I saw this book it attracted my attention, mainly because of the cover, the color combination and the illustration on it were really special. Unfortunately I didn´t have a camera on me that day so I couldn´t take any photos of it. Last time I went to the book store I found it again and this time I did have a camera!!! This book is a compilation of 30 poems written by Gilles Tibo, a greatly renowned children´s author. The illustrations are from five different illustrators from Quebec (the Canadian region I live now)... so, the illustrations I liked the best from all of them were from the Canadian Illustrator Janice Nadeau, who lives in Montreal (as I do!). Her illustrations from this book are the following 3 that I´m sharing. I find her work so beautiful! Her watercolor use is so full of movement and simplicity, I love it!
The curious part of this story is that when I begin to do my research about the illustrator, I found that she illustrated this other book I bought in México a couple of years ago titled “Where in the world”, I bought this book because its illustration seemed to me so amazing, I don´t remember if I bought it in its French version or its Spanish version but I guess I should have bought the French one because I don´t remember to have read it ... So since I bought it, for some reason this book has had a special place in my collection of children books and is still one of my favorite ones.
Such a nice thing to know that this very special book, is from an illustrator that lives in the same very city where my destiny is.

Miren que la vida es muy curiosa, desde la primera vez que vi este libro me llamó la atención por la portada, me impactaron los colores y la ilustración…. Pero no traía cámara ese día así que lo dejé. En la última ocasión que pude ir a la librería me lo volví a encontrar y esta vez si no pude dejar de fotografiarlo… Lo curioso de esta historia es que el libro es una compilación de 30 Poemas de Gilles Tibo, un gran conocido autor infantil. Y las ilustraciones son de cinco ilustradores de Quebec (región en la que ahora vivo en Canadá)… Y bueno, las ilustraciones que más me gustaron fueron de la ilustradora Canadiense Janice Nadeau, quien vive en Montreal (como yo!)… y son las siguientes 3 fotos que les comparto de este libro… su trabajo me parece hermoso! En acuarela, lleno de simplicidad y movimiento… me encanta!
Lo curioso de esta historia es que cuando me pongo a investigar un poco más acerca de la ilustradora, me encuentro que ella ilustró un libro que compré en México hace ya un par de años que se llama “Ningún lugar a donde ir” y el cual compré porque sus ilustraciones me parecieron maravillosas, no recuerdo ya si lo compre en su versión en francés o español, creo que fue la de francés porque no recuerdo haberlo leído…. Y bueno, desde que lo compré por alguna razón que no acabo de atinar es uno de mis libros favoritos, tiene un lugar muy especial en mi colección.
Qué cosa linda saber que este libro tan especial para mí, es ilustrado por una mujer tan talentosa que vive en la misma ciudad a donde el destino me llevó…

Et moi, que pourrais je faire?
    
The book of today is so beautiful that as soon as I saw it I couldn´t resist to take some photos of it for showing it here! The translation for the title would be "And I, what can I do?" and the illustrator is the talented Jesús Cisneros, from Spain... Oh his style is so poetic and simple (why is it simplest the illustrations the most beautiful I think they are?) Check out this beatufiul video of another of his book illustrations with a nice piano background.
I found a review of the book where you can see what it is about, the story has a very deep and human meaning that I really liked... Oh what a nice book is this!!!!
Btw... the Spanish Editorial house is OQO and I just cannot stop looooooving their books! what a nice work they do! one of my favorite Editorial houses! (applauses for their selection of story tellers, illustrators and books).

El libro de hoy es hermooooso y en cuanto lo vi no pude resistir las ganas de tomarle unas fotitos para mostrárselo! La traducción del título es "Y yo, que puedo hacer?" y el ilustrador es el talentoso ilustrador Español Jesús Cisneros... Ay su estilo es tan poético y simple (porque será que mientras mas simples son las ilustraciones, más hermosas me parecen?) Vean este hermoso video de las ilustraciones de otro de sus libros con un lindo fondo de piano.
Encontré la reseña de la historia aquí para que sepan de que se trata, en realidad es una historia bien profunda y con un mensaje muy humano, me encantó... Que lindo libro!!!!
Por cierto que la Casa Editorial es OQO y de verdad que me encantan sus libros infantiles! Que buen trabajo hacen! es en definitiva una de mis casas editoriales favoritas! (aplausos por su maravillosa selección de autores, ilustradores y por sus libros).Etiquetas: Libro - Book

Here is another nice book I saw at the book store!!! The illustrations are very simple and I think very original... I love the colors and I think the wolf is such a great charachter!!! The book is made in a big format and the pages are very think and shinny, very cute!!!

Acá les dejo otro librito que vi en la librería y me gustó!!! las ilustraciones son muy simples y me parecen muy originales... los colores me facinan y el lobo es un personajazoooo!!!! el libro esta hecho en una especie de formato duro, no se si me explico, las páginas son como de pasta... brillosas.... muy lindooo!!!

So as I promised I´m back.... and now I had a great idea... I will go to the book store once a week and browse around the books I like and since I have not that much money to buy them I will take photos of them and show them here!!!
Sooooo.... once again from my very favourite Rebecca Dautremer.... Elvis!!!! I guess almost all of you know this book... but if you don´t... Please! Pleaaaaase!!!! Go to the nearest bookstore and take a good look at it... is so so beautiful!!!! I just love it!

Así que como les prometí estoy de vuelta... y ahora con una genial idea... me voy escapar una vez a la semana a la librería a buscar libros, y como no me alcanza pa comprarlos por el momento pues lo que haré es tomarles fotos y mostrarselos aquí!!!
Y aquí está, una vez más, de mi favorita Rebecca Dautremer... Elvis!!!! Creo que ya casi todos de ustedes conocen este libro... pero si no... porfa, porfa, por favooooor!!!! vayan a la librería más cercana y admirenlo... es tan hermosoooo!!!! Me fascina!
